Michael Da Silva picked up his 2015 Subaru BRZ in December of 2015. It was the first new car he ever bought. When he was diagnosed with an auto immune disease, building the car became his outlet and distraction to keep his mind off negative thoughts. Inspired by friends at Nextmod, as well as within the local car scene, he says that this expensive distraction has been 100% worth it.

FAVORITE MODIFICATION:
"My favorite mod would have to be the Targa Blue Auto Dip.
I was originally going to be painting my car once it was done, but got an opportunity from Auto Dip for them to come to personally come to me, set my car up in a paint booth and spray my car.
The thing I love most about it, is that my stock Gunmetal Grey color is still available for me down the line if I wanted to paint match my kit. If I ever want that grey, I'm able to simply peel off the blue. It's amazing stuff.
Unlike plasti-dip, Auto Dip allows you to wet sand and polish the dip as you would on paint."
FUTURE MODIFICATIONS:
"HKS V2 supercharger - I actually ordered this already, it's on the way and set to install early spring 2018, just before the car season.
OEM Audio+ - Looking to get a solid sound system installed in the coming months.
Various interior mods - FT86 Motorsports sells various alcantara suede inserts to replace the stock pieces.
Rally Backer v2 rear fenders - This is somewhat in the works, my plan is to have a half Rocket Bunny V2 half Rally backer kit. Fitment is an issue, but this is definitely a future plan."
