As an avid car enthusiast, Frank Moreno always wanted to own a Porsche. As a husband and father, he knew this would never be feasible. While trying to strike a balance between both, Moreno was introduced to a 2003 Nissan 350Z by a parent at his son’s baseball game. “I was in a daze,” says Moreno, adding he immediately realized the car met all of his requirements. Fast forward a few years later, his sister gets wind of a used, black 2005 Nissan 350Z, only 20,000 miles clocked, being sold in Oregon. Soon after, it was shipped to Washington and Moreno says he’s been having fun ever since.
I still love the Porsche but [it’s] out of my price range. I'm happy with my Z.”
The 350Z has participated in over a dozen competitions and almost always comes home a champion. Some of these accolades include Best Nissan, Best Tricked Out and Best in Class Modified. Moreno says the build is not yet completed, with plans to install VIP Modular wheels, a single turbo and a carbon fiber hood.
